Valentines Day---Drabble

She was awoken by the smells of chocolate and roses.  Her tousled hair stuck to the pillow as she sat up, rubbed her eyes, and glanced around the bedroom.
"Oh my...god."  Jan whispered to herself.
The room was filled with roses, stuffed animals, boxes of chocolate, and hearts cut out of paper.  The hearts were obviously done by Michael because they weren't even close to even.  Some of them barely resembled hearts at all.
"Good morning buttercup!  Happy Valentines Day!"  Michael called from across the room.
"Michael, where are you?  I can't even see you."
"Oh, I'm sitting behind the giant teddy bear."
She kicked the covers off of her bare legs, and slipped her feet into the fuzzy red heart sippers waiting patiently by her bed.
"Michael, I can barely walk.  You could have at least made a path...or something."  She called in his general direction.
"Sorry.  Uhh, step over the unicorn, pick up the cupid doll, and jump from there to the spot in front of the bear."

5 minutes later, Jan was seated comfortably beside Michael, her back resting against the giant stuffed bear Michael had bought her.
"You really didn't have to do all of this."
"I wanted to.  Plus, I get to help you eat all the chocolate now."
"I never said you could help me eat it all."  She rested her head on his shoulder.  "Thank you.  This means a lot."
"No problemo."
